I get braces on Tuesday?

Question

Ok, should i get clear unnoticable brackets, or colored ones like everyone else? I hate the way peopole look with braces (no offence) and I am NOT looking forward to being like all of them, you know my mouth full of wires and colors. If I can get the ceramic brackets, should I ? Will i miss out on all of the "fun" of choosing or coordinating my braces? I REALLY dont know help!!?

i would definatley not get clear . they are plastic and when you brush them they will turn orange and yellow becuse of the plastic.

lol iv had braces for... 10 months i always get silver not invisiline u noe y?? b.c its uglayyy u can see the food get stuck more i have the silver brackets its soo much better.. lol i bet u wont look bad!!! i love my smile with them plus my teeeth are like basiclly perfect soon! lol just wear them and think to urself wen i take off these i will stunning teeth its worth it!!!!!!!! goodluck

I've always loved braces. I think they're adorable. But whatever you want, I guess. It's no one else's decision but yours.

Man, I wished I got the ceramic brackets ): I have metal brackets, sometimes I don't care about them on my teeth, sometimes I do. Metal annoys me alot and the metal wires get in my gum and mouth but I try to get used to it. I WAS about to get ceramics too because I didn't like how metal looks on people at my school then I was told by my ortho. that people who have ceramics have to wear it longer than metal. So I just got metal because most people don't honestly care if you have braces or not since most people in my school do have braces too like me.

If you don't like metal ones, get ceramics if your ortho./dentist lets you. Some people think it's fun to choose the colors but not me i just got clear rubber bands but it's still noticible to see the wires. Ceramics aren't that noticable, I have one classmate who has ceramics and I didnt notice she had braces until I went up to her & saw she had braces. Just keep in mind ceramics do stain and you have to wear it couple of months longer than metal. I heard ceramics don't hurt as much at first unlike metal, which hurt ALOT but I got used to it.

If you're gonna get ceramics, whiten your teeth first before you get them because if you have yellow teeth and ceramics look kind-of gross.

I would Get the Clear bracket ones!  i wanted those kind when i had braces but i didn't :(

but a kid in my grade had the clear ones and you couldn't even tell they had braces.!  So i would get the clear ones not sooo noticeable. :)

my very good dentist said it's bad to get all that wire in your mouth

just get invisible plastic braces,they help a lot

you have plenty of times to change thm out so you can experience it all!

it really itsnt that bad- i say go for colors first time to see how they look. with the clear ones- you can still see the brackets and stuff and it also makes your teech look chalky and gross.. but you have plenty of time to try out both- if you are more nervous about one of them- get it in the summer or something so you can see how you like it.

i think you should get the coloured braces.

the clear ones aren't even really clear, and they get stains on them.

i had braces so i would know. :)

and you're right, choosing the colours can be quite fun.

i think you should go with invisalign, its newer, so it might be better to have then the older kind

I think the color ones are good. if you get food in the clear ones everyone will c it better
