Question:

I get headaches that only disappear if I lift weights at the gym. Are they likely just tension headaches?

The usual things like pills, water etc.. don't seem to work. The headaches can be aggravated by alcohol, or by sleeping too heavily. I think they may be linked to neck/shoulder tension (which may explain why weight-training helps).

  1. You may need to go to a chiropractor to get your cervical vertebra aligned.  You may also have some fibrosis in your cervical/thoracic region that could be managed with massage.  Hope you can get this relieved.  


  2. They for sure sound like tension headaches. Get yourself a neck and shoulder massager(you can get them at moswt pharmacies, and they are cheap) If the headaches continue for a while, see your doctor.
