he is giving you hamilton (7rd in home runs in the MLB), Berkman (3rd), and kinsler (hitting .305) and you are giving one DL player,  ludwik who has 17 HR's and is hitting .310.  Upton is streaky, but gets some steals and i believe that elsbery is the most valuable player in this trade that you are giving.  this is a very good trade if you only have soriano on the DL and you wont need him when he comes back.

If you do get the trade, it's decent if you are getting steals from other guys.  You have decent power guys in ordonez, holliday, and howard, but you don't have any speed besides wright, ellsbury, and upton.  you are trading away a lot of steals for two guys that will help you kill in power, but if you are already competing in those categories, it doesn't make sense to trade for more.

i guess thats pretty fair but your losing a lot of quailty players for a few quality players
