I get my yahoo account suspendered each time i ask or answer questions about torrents?

What really bugs me is why are torrent sites available to visit.

No, they are absolutely not legal. It's pirating, and Yahoo doesn't support that. Any time you are downloading, no matter what method it may be, that does not actually give any profit to the artist, it's illegal.

Torrent's are legal, it's just what people do with them. I use uttorent daily for LEGAL reasons. Especially when downloading free linux distributions or big programs that are free. I understand why yahoo does not support torrent's as in the majority of them are bad but i think ahoo should at least warn a user before suspending the account.

I am pretty sure that torrents are legal. Did you contact yahoo and ask them why? Maybe you should. Hope this helps. :)
