  2. Contrary to popular belief, women aren't the only ones with hormonal cycles. It's just that for guys, it's compressed within an entire day, as opposed to over a month. I'm assuming 9th grade puts you in your mid-teens. During puberty, a combination of growth spurts and fluctuating hormonal levels can easily cause headaches and nausea. When you're sleeping, you grow taller(more so than when awake). In the morning, when you wake up, your brain, eyes, ears, stomach, and other various "balancing organs" have to adjust to their new relative positions, which means at least several seconds of trying to maintain your balance until you can walk steadily. If this nausea in the morning persists till you're 20, you might need to see a doctor. Also, if you're experiencing it every day for more than a week, you should likewise see a doctor to rule out any other causes like stomach flu.
