  1. The only way to be confident at reading aloud is to practice. Do this for half an hour every day. Vary your speed, your pitch, your tone whilst doing it. Read aloud in different character voices too. Pretend to be an old man, a child, a duck, a cartoon character. Practice telling jokes too with your family.

You would be much better off asking this sort of question in the acting section of Yahoo, I am sure you would get much better responses. Good luck with the reading.

  2. How old are you?if you're young than its normal to feel a little anxious in class, especially if there are girls around. But if you're over 20 and you still feel this way, then I think you should get help from a proffesional before it turns into a debilitating phobia.

  3. Just remember, nobody out there is any better than you.

  4. PRACTICE! Take a deep breath. Read the material to yourself first. SMILE!

  5. What makes you feel feel that way?You shouldn't be bothered about what others think or say about you.You are a human being just like they are,You are God's creation. You are a wonderful person just the way you are. If  there had been a past experience that has triggered off this nervousness, and is still bothering you,I suggest that you bury it right now.Let it go!

You know what? when you share your jokes.you are making someone laugh and that's a very nice thing to do.Maybe that someone had a bad day and by sharing your jokes you make them feel better.

  6. well, there are many solutions to this problem!

first, if you have the seen the clearasil commercial, picturing someone naked DOES in fact help.

also, reading aloud instead of reading to yourself helps to.

lastly, taking deep breathes and drinking warm water helps as well.

these are answers to every speech problem from saying "um" alot to freezing up and turning white!

  7. 1. Remind yourself that it's not a big deal and nobody will probably remember it a few minutes later... even if you DO mess up somehow.

    2. When your heart starts to beat fast, remember to breathe...take a few deep breaths, which will help you to focus and will help slow your heart down again.

    3. Take a drink of water if you can.

    4. Focus on what you're saying, not what people might be thinking about you.

  8. first take a big breath, and then if is people from your class c'mon man is just people you know! you know from long time... and if you really focus in the lecture do it right just think this that by the time you go half way look the faces make silly comments before you star, do a warm up check for your friends and play with them be silly be happy,.. just think that is people you know is like it was reading at from of your family  if you know what are you reading before do it public well I recommed you do it by your self in your room or if something spontanious well don't worry just take a big breath and I  there is nothing better to finish with those nerves than practice, practice, practice,...  do it all the time Ask for do it for more silly can be by the way it would go away,..
