I get offended when people at my school make fun of country folks.?

Question

At my school there are people from a bunch of different places one of the most common is Florida and i live in georgia.

i get offended when they make fun of hillbillies and rednecks and country folk because i am one of them and it annoys me i guess because i like being rough and rowdy and tough and i like my southern draw i think it is cool but when they do that it makes me mad and i don't no what to do about it because i have a real bad temper and that will sometimes sort of slow down my thinking a bit.

I am smart i go to church a work on my "land" i think being sweaty means you worked hard i am from a middle class family i have an i pod my parents have 3 cars and stuff a bunch of other people have and the people from my school some say "oh yeah i am so country, i went hunting 3 years ago i got hooked up, i had a cabin air conditioning big screen t.v. and i got to sleep until noon."

and another thing they do that i am sure has nothing to do with this question but they are obsessed with vitamin water and pepsi..... is that not weird???? you live in the south end of story.

Yeah. Cities are so much more sophisticated with drive-by shootings, whole areas people are afraid to go, drugs, riots, crime, no one knowing the people who live in the same building. Yeah, country people are freaks with their fresh air, friendliness, hospitality, sanity, and so on. Listen, I live in a city and come from a real small town. I'd go back to that town any old day. People are stupid. For instance, Jay Leno -- no mental giant there -- makes fun of Arkansas and other states. Leno lives in California. Gees.
