I get prank callls alot and its annoying how can i stop it without the police?

Turn off the ringer, they'll give up after a while when they dont get through.

Do you have caller ID?

If the crank caller is using *67, then just ignore unknown numbers.

If they aren't (and you know who it is to a certain degree), then just ignore that number or those numbers.

Or whatever.

Either block the number that came in or change your number.

We were getting silent calls late at night a few years ago and it was freaking my mother out because my father works shifts and is out 3 nights a week.

So, my father left a whistle beside the bed and if the phone rang and no one spoke my mother just blasted the whistle down the phone.

It might work, it's worth a try anyway.
