I get pretty frequent headaches, looking for a cause?

Well, since about June I've had headaches so frequent it almost seems as if it's been one constant one. It hasn't though. I do suffer from migraines unfortunately. It seems like all of them have ranged from feeling like a migraine to barley there but enough to annoy me, much like the one I have now.

Nothings really changes I guess, majorly in my life. I have about the same stress level give or take a little tiny bit. I've been going to bed and eating at all the same times and everything, nothing out of the normal. All of those things are normally what starts up a headache for me.

I haven't really had much of a headache since, I don't know maybe 6th or 7th grade (I'm in 12th now) so is my body just making up for that? (I doubt it...but I have wondered.)

So just looking for any causes really that could make a difference and to have so many headaches latley.

  1. HEAD ON: APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD

    =)

  2. Have you been taking your B vitamins?? You could be suffering from a vitamin B deficiency, which was what caused my headaches. So take a look into that and hopefully this helps

  3. Consider dehydration, allergy or food sensitivity, and posture imbalance.  Yoga is a good tool for fixing back/shoulders/neck problems.  T'ai chi is also useful.

Headaches can be a sign of something serious; good luck finding a solution.

p.s. don't worry about whether or not your diet has changed; worry about whether or not your diet is correct for you.  The body changes.

  4. It could be a lot of things.

    Low blood sugar.

    High blood sugar.

Diabetes (It was a flag symptom for my father).

    Addiction/Lack of caffeine.

    Addiction/Lack of sugar.

    Dehydration.

    Too much sodium.

    Too much Iron.

    Brain tumors.

    Tumors in the brainstem.

    Tumors in the spinal cord.

This is just a short list of the most common ones. Try drinking some water or eating something when you get a headache. If they're still persistant, go see a doctor. It could be something bad.

  5. You should really see your doctor about this.

I started getting frequent headaches when I was in the 11th grade.  At first they were just small headaches that would annoy me but then they started turning into migraines.  They were getting so bad that I ended up having to get a CT Scan done.  In the end, my doctor told me that it was probably the type of food I was eating.  She gave me a list of foods to avoid and ever since then, I don't get headaches so frequently.

You should try to avoid anything with caffeine in it, anything that contains lactose such as milk, cheese and yogurt.  Peanuts and chocolate among other things were also on the list.  These things trigger headaches.

    Hope I've helped.

  6. Have you actually been diagnosed with migraines? Migraines can be caused by numerous things such as diet (you seem to already know this), as well as hormone levels. Unfortunately throughout a females cycle our hormone level are constantly changing. Have you noticed any correlation to headaches and your menstrual cycle? Migraines can be treated with prescription medications for acute and chronic migraines. The drug class triptans effectively treat most peoples migraines. Those with chronic migraines can even be put on medications such as beta blockers (treats blood pressure & heart conditions) and even some seizures medications (carbamazepine). Migraines is an off labeled use for some of these medications but if your having frequent migraines you may want to discuss it with your physician. Good luck!

  7. i know you have said you have strong doubts to it being your diet. it may in fact be Cows Milk  if not it maybe your blood pressure and many other things

  8. Diet pop and foods will do it!
