Wow poor you, my spacers never hurt and my teeth are super crowded... id say about a week until you get your braces, just eat soft foods and take lots of ibrupofen. Best of luck to you xoxo

No, but I worked them out from between my teeth with my tongue so when I showed up to get my braces (about a week later) they took little wood wedges and forced them between my teeth to do what the spacers should have.  So leave them alone.

ok well I got spacers on like 4 days ago and all of my friends told me that they were gonna hurt. But they did NOT hurt at all! But then after a day I admit that it hurt to eat like hard things like chips and stuff like that. But I recommend you eat steak because I had that and it didn't hurt my teeth at all LOL. Oh ya and dont eat sticky things, like peanut butter. Well I got my spacers on Thursday the 14 and I'm going back to get braces on the 21st so probably a week after u get spacers. I found the spacers to be the worst, even more painful than braces. My friend agrees too. So it depends on the individual I guess.

they dont hurt they just feel uncomfortable

and your probably going to get your braces on in a week
