I get terrible red eye in pictures even with red eye reduction on?

is there anyway of preventing this, ie , eye drops, or clear contacts, i know u can edit pictures after, but i was wondering if there is a way of preventing it in the first place

Get a new camera, only the old cameras do that. no offence.

nope, it the camera reflecting off the inner eye or something like that! just doctor it when done!

try adjusting the flash settings or defuse the flash with a tissue over it u can also use computer software like Photoshop or Gimp to remove it

It's nothing to do with you - it's the way light hits your eyes and the type of camera you have. I recomend you download picasa by google. It's video editing software that's great at taking of red-eye.

You want to wear contacts just on the off chance someone might take your picture and you might have red eye?

Get a better camera. Or, just don't worry about it.
