Question:

I get texts from the number 5000. Where does it come from and more importantly how can I respond?

I have been getting these texts from a friend lately and the number comes up as 5000 and then in the text I see his number followed by a / and the message. Is it coming from a computer. And I need to know is there any way of sending a message back. Cause I have tried but he does not get it.

  1. It sounds like it is coming from a text web site.  If that is the case, there is no way to respond back to the person
