I can get very angry for a period of time and then usually get upset afterwards and cry for bout half an hour with very intensive thoughts like lifes not worth it then i can forget what i was even crying about. This is getting worse and it has intensifed of late. I have nothing in my life to be depressed or annoyed about and i have started to keep a diary to record episodes to ensure it is not hormonal, which I honestly dont think it is.

  1. See your doctor, it could be a hormone imbalance. How old are you?

  2. are you sure ur describing urself there and not me lol, im the same as you but whenever i feel like im going to get angry i take a walk or a nice relaxing bath and i always feel fine and happy again. x*x

  3. i would prolly see some kind of doctor...it sounds kind of like you are bi polar... but a doctor will def. be able to tell u   good luck

  4. The fact of the matter is, life could be perfect and you can still be depressed, it kinda just happens, the best thing to do in all honesty, is go to your doctor, tell them how you feel, they will ask you a series of questions based on what you tell them and they will decide what the best thing is, it might be you just need to speak to someone about how you feel, or you may need something to help you feel better.

Depression affects something like 1 in 3 people in the UK so its quite a common thing, and don't be embarrassed about talking to someone about it, because the sooner you do, the sooner this can be sorted.

  5. Have a feeling of belongingness for all around you. Think positive, do yoga and meditation daily, keep in the company of friends you like the most and see comic programme or movies.

  6. You are probably going through depression and I suggest psychiatric help.

  7. I agree with Charley, and some of the others, I have suffered from depression, for many years but I didn't recognise it till going through a divorce. Its from a imbalance of serotonin or something like that which makes you feel happy so things like exercise & laughing & relaxing all help, it is best to speak to your doctor but prosac etc aren't always what you need. Tablets like that block out your feelings & just give you a general feeling that every thing is ok, a bit like feeling tipsy on too much wine. Ok for the short term but in the long run you need to eventually find out what triggers your imbalance & recognise the beginnings of your ups & downs. Talk to the people around you so they know to support you & not think that you are upset with them. In essence it is a "hormones" thing but not un fixable. Here's a smile from me :0)

  8. Every thought and action you make is a result of certain chemicals overriding others in your brain.  If you are upset for no reason this is obviously a chemical imbalance which needs to be addressed.  There are any number of things that could be causing this.  Medication, lack of exercise/sleep, hormones (especially at certain ages), or it may just be an abnormality in your brain.  See a doctor.

  9. it sounds like you should go seek a mental health care professional because it sounds like a case of being bipolar. that's when you go through periods of different type of emotions.

  10. try to live one day without thinking of the other, it will definitely help.

  11. Perhaps you are manic depressive. Maybe you should see someone.

  12. nutrition, nutrition, nutrition, and plenty of fluid and a multivitamin-sorry no dramas here

  13. Well you cheered me up

  14. Do you know what the root of the problem is? Most types of mental instability can be dealt by tracing down to where it began. What's causing the distress. Then you deal with the problem. It might be a good idea to get people involved, though it's a personal choice. I find that when I let people that are close to me know about my issues, I feel like they're with me on this, so I have a reason to push forward.

Especially if it's not hormonal... you have to ask yourself why you are having these episodes. Is there a trigger, like right before having one do you have arguments, fights, etc.? What you're suggesting seems a little vague... "life's not worth it." Life isn't worth it for what? To do what?

It might be helpful to do a little reflection, like why you are here, and what your life means to you. Very few people do this nowadays, but I think it's well worth it for the life you have ahead of you.

  15. you should erase all the bad memories and start freash don't waste your time getting angry and sad

  16. talk to your doctor, sounds like you have a condition of some sort

  17. I'm not trying to be funny, but you sound like my wife!!....trust me it's hormones. She goes through bouts of anger and depression and in her words, there's no reason for it.....get yourself to the doctor and see what they say. They might try and hit you with Prosac, but get yourself to the gym or even out running....it's amazing what a bit of exercise can do for your head ;-)
