Question:

I go back to school on wednesday i need to start getting back to bed earlier. Help?

    you need to get back in the habit somehow!


  2. Right. Even if you can't get to sleep until late tonight get up at 8 o'clock in the morning - 8:30 if you want. :)

    You'll be tired for tomorrow night and go to sleep abit earlier. Again get up at 8/8.30. Keep in this routine and you'll find your going to bed earlier. Also make sure your not eating too many carbohydrates late at night. If you hungry just eat fruit or something.

  3. It's Sunday now so tomorrow night go to bed at your usual time and just keep saying in your head ' wake up at 8am, wake up at 8am' it works I promise! Don't worry you will get up, even though you will be tied. Don't forget you don't do much on the first day anyway.You will be fine. Good Luck! By the way I'm back on Monday and I'm a member of staff lol!

  4. i have EXACTLY the same problem as you...

    except i go back to school on tuesday

    im addicted to the sims 2 at the moment so ive been playing that till about 2 in the morning every night

    today ive told myself that im going to go to bed at midnight, no excuses, and then tomorrow im going to try going to bed a little earlier and then, hopefully, ill be going to bed at a decent time

    im just worried that my body wont be ready to go to sleep so early and i wont be able to get to sleep :S

    Stick to a schedule of going to bed early, starting tonite.  

  6. don't go to sleep all night tonight till tomorrow night and go to sleep early tomorrow. try that and then keep up the early bed time from then.

  7. just do your best I know most people are on the same boat and I am sure the schools understand this for now just get all the zzz's you can get you still have a long weekend to go  

  8. yea its goona take a while nw cause u've been sleepin late 4 sooo long that ur body's set its time 2 go 2 sleep later. This always happens 2 me aswel te best advice i can give u is to drink a warm glass of milk before u go sleep and start goin bed early starting from now. so off u go 2 bed

  10. well my skool opens on wednesday to me and my best freind always try our best 2 or 3 days before skool opens sleep at night and put yur alarm on for 6 in the morning then yur body will get use to it

  11. Start Sunday and stick with it!. Once you have your uniform in the wardrobe all ready and ironed and your shoes polished and bag for first day packed, you will soon train your brain to get back into the flow.

    Me too have to get back into routine for Weds.

    On Tues pm as you lay down to sleep, l**k your finger and draw an 8 or whatever time you need to get up on your forehead. well, you never know.....

  12. well what i do is subtract no less than 1 and a half hours every night if you're staying up till like 2 or 3 that is. which is what i've been doing
