  1. It's safe but you never will know. My bro & his gf got stomachaches after eating at a restaurant near the S'pore Flyer. And also if you're not used to having spicy food, it'll be best to avoid them.

  2. Definitely, safe from restaurants, to food courts to hawker centres. But bring some diarrhoea tablets with you if you are afraid. Oh, the tap water is potable too but bottled water is always the best

  3. Oh dear, I still cannot believe that many European still have the impression that Singaporean dwelt on tree tops.

Has STPB failed in their advertising in Europe?

  4. Havent you heard? Singapore is the most filthiest country on the planet. Where are you from anyway?

p.s: you can l**k the floor off the Changi Airport when you reach, thats how clinically clean we are. Singapore has a grading system for food handling and hygiene. I bet you never heard of it. Obviously Singapore Tourism Board has forgotten to highlight to the world on the "safety" of our food here.

  5. Absolutely, mate ! I've been to Singapore many times and eaten at all sorts of places. Never had any problem, whatsoever.

  6. Go to a indian restaurant and tell me later by email...

  7. why shouldn't it be? it is very safe.. even if you eat in food courts, hawker centers. even street food!

  8. I've been all over the world and I'd have to say that Singapore is the cleanest d**n place I have ever been.  Eat to your hearts content mate, I sure did.

  9. What the question is this? I think people when they go out and looking for a place to eat they'll choose the good place and good name right? So it's up to you if you eat unidentified foods.

  10. Why shouldn't it be? It's cleaner in Singapore than most European countries I have been to.

  11. It is safer to eat in Singapore on the street than it is to eat in most of Europe.

  12. nope..it is not safe...get ready to freak out

...we serve everythg here alive!!! yes alive!!!!.....live cows, goats, chicken and evenn crocodiles...so it is the law of the concrete jungle here...it is the survival of the fitter...either u eat them or they eat u

...we believe in organic food too.....we serve veges raw with all the cow dung.....and chicken sh*t as fertilisers.....yup...tats why we are very healthy...and live up to 100!!!...

    ..welcome to our food paradise....

  13. It is even safe if you eat on the streets of Singapore. It is very clean here and food sellers are very hygenic and follow strict rules/guidelines. Don't worry you'll be alright. Singapore is nothing like any other Asian cities.

  14. Singapore is a first world country. And its fully developed. The most cleanest and the most safest. A very beautiful woman, naked, just wearing her body full of expensive jewellery can walk on the street anytime of the day. And nothing will happen to her. No pickpockets. But if you lose your phone on a cab, if you have the imei number, make a police complaint, so if your lucky, you can get it back. And the public transport is finest. The local trains here got the no.1 awards for cleanliness and efficiency. Everything is no.1 here. Maybe people lack moral values at here, no humanity in this fast race against time. Because time is money here. Its I would say another branch of New York's times square. Thats Singapore.

When eating out, ask the shop keeper for the grade certificate. Its provided by NEA aka National Environment Agency so if they certificate shows A. Then go ahead and have it. Drinking water, well, perrier and evian available here. Tap water can just drink as its suitable for drinking from WHO guidelines.

  15. you european think that asia is so backward, everything is dirty and uncultured, DON"T COME IF YOU FEEL UNSAFE AND DIRTY COUNTRY. GO AND TOUR YOUR EUROPE COUNTRIES.
