  1. We have shorter years of study in both the primary and secondary curriculum here in the Philippines. You have to pass any entrance exam but generally most of your subjects will be credited as long as you pass the school's entrance exam and interview.

  2. There are some schools here in the Philippines that gives you entrance exams according to your current year. If you wish to take the same grade or the grade higher, just take up their exams. If you managed to pass, you'll have no worries.

Even though the educational standards in Philippines are more shorter, the lessons are well-discussed depending onto the school you go. I suggest you research for good private high schools near to the place you'll be living in soon.

If you want to have the same standards same as your previous school, there are international schools located here. Brent School is an international school but quite expensive though.

  3. thing is.. in the philippines their high school, starts from the 7th grade..

and its done at the tenth grade.... most likely... if u go to the philippines and go as a sophmore.. youd be a senior in high school... now there are some schools where they take the US standards and go up to the 12th grade.. but.. those are usually specialty schools... its hard to move from one city to another... and ur going from one country from another... ultimately.. it always works out in the end...

  4. There's no problem if you are going to study here. You'll get accepted easily. The problem is when you get back there. If you will go back there for college, chances are you have to repeat at least the year in high school because the courses that we take here are not compatible with the requirements there. Sometimes, degrees earned here are also not recognized abroad. I suggest you go to an international school here so you wont have any problems. Try the International School Manila for high school.
