I going Vietnam n Laos ,wat tourists attractions,?

Question

retaurants,shopping malls , food centres, hawkers centres, internet access places , wi fi internet access areas ,

public transport , etc ????

wat number 2 call in the event of a emergency Police n ambulance ???

n visas ? how ,where 2 get visas? any visa needed?

any advice or recommendations ?

wat r your bad experiences when u travelled there ???

any precautions i shld take ???

.. joe if you are even thinking about calling the police you are going to the wrong place.. YOU NEVER CALL THE POLICE IN south east asia...or mexico..lol  you ought to visit austrailia or take a tour of conneticut with that attitude... south east asia aint for the "squeemism"... you're worrying to much .. to travel in lao & viet nam you got to be an adventurer...

For Vietnam:

Everything you need will only available in big, major city like Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi.

Food, Internet, public transport everywhere.

Number to call: 113 = same 911 in the US

Bad experiences: You have to negotiate for whatever you going to buy: for example: only $2 for lunch instead of $20

Get visa: go to Vietnam embassy in DC or San Francisco
