  1. First, work on your English, you'll need it. If you were joining the Army, you would be just fine. Navy boot camp is a little tough physically, but more tough mentally.

  2. It can be tough depending on what lifestyle you are used to.

Yes those in any branch of the military are sent to war because that is the job of the military.  In the Navy if you are on a ship you go all over the place during exercises and deployments.  Sometimes you are out for a few days and other times you are out for months on end with port calls.  You can be what is called Individual Augmentee where you are assigned to a command in a place like Djibouti, Africa, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, etc...  or you can be assigned to a Navy Command that is Overseas like Hawaii, Guam, Spain, Italy, Japan, etc....

Being the in the military is no less safe than walking down the street or driving down the street.  when it is your time you are going to go whether you are sleeping in your bed, on a plane going somewhere, on a ship in the middle of the Pacific, or hanging upside down at a playground

  3. For me bootcamp was very easy.

Serving in the Navy often means a lot of travel. Most ships will visit hundreds of foreign ports.

If you get shore duty you will likely live in a foreign country, which can be a lot of fun.

My family and I lived in Scotland which was a blast!

Then later in my career, we lived in Italy.

So it can be lots of fun!

    Good luck!

  4. you don't enroll in the Navy( note the capital letter, this isn't a color we are talking about here), you ENLIST.

Boot camp is as hard or as easy as you make it.

YES you will deploy. and yes we have people who are boots on the ground in dry sandy and hostile places.  we also have ships  circling oil platforms over there protecting them against smugglers and terrorists.

one of the most dangerous places to work in the world is the flight deck of an Aircraft carrier.

  5. basic training is really tough, im in the reserves and took my bmt last summer and it is rlly tough and the navy although not the most recognized is still quite dangerous, and there is always the possiblity of being sent out
