  1. It will go away when your mouth heals. The smell is from the bacteria. Just rinse with mouthwash at least once a day and give it about a week or so to heal. Till then, pick you favorite mint.

  2. It will go away when your sockets close up and heal.  Ughh i feel for you i really do, I had the same problem.  When you are able to brush your teeth without pain everything will be fine.  Good luck, and make sure to take it easy, you don't want to get a dry socket i heard they hurt like heck.

  3. go to the dentist.. he'll put this gauze in the hole that has gel on it.

It numbs the gum while the hole heals up.

Hope you feel better cus i know mine hurt like h**l.

  4. If the pain is that bad after four days then you could honestly have dry sockets or an infection could have taken place. If the pain isn't A LOT better in the next few days, it's time to head back to the doc and let him check them out. I just recently got my wisdoms taken out and it took me a good 7 days before I could eat without a lot of pain. And in the mean time.... when your brush your teeth, be sure to brush your tongue a little longer than normal. It will help get that nasty taste out for a while. And keep a bottle of water beside your bed. So that nasty taste in the middle of the night will lessen. Don't worry though, just get your rest and know it'll all get better soon!

  5. o.o

    you might have dry rot.

    or something

    get that checked

    but I'm scared now

cuz im gettin mine pulled on the 7th!!!

    how bad is it?!?

    the pain i mean

  6. Are you flushing your mouth?  What about antibiotics?  The pain is quite normal but I don't think you should be having so much trouble with the odor.  I had my impacted teeth out a couple years ago, they were infected but the odor went away within a couple of days with correct oral hygene and antibiotics.  The pain lasted a couple weeks and it took a couple months to heal completely.

  7. You may have dry sockets. If the pain persists, see a doctor, because they holes where the teeth were may have become infected, and must be treated.

  8. I got 4 impacted wisdom teeth taken out last summer. Usually stuff doesn't start to go back to normal until at least a week has passed. If the pain increases at any point from now on and you get a really nasty taste in your mouth... definitely go back to your dentist - it's an infection. My sister got an infection and the pain was excruciating and it leaked a gross tasting puss. Your stinky breath should go away as soon as you can brush your teeth and use mouth wash safely. Honestly, it sounds like an infection to me, so I'd go if you don't see improvement by Tuesday. Hope you get well soon!
