  1. If anyone in your house smokes (anything -- cigars, cigarettes, pipes, weed) -- or if anyone burns incense or scented candles, the air in your house is toxic to any bird.

  2. They all could've fought to the death. Or also something in the food, water, or air. I hear they can be a little vicious sometimes. I'm really sorry about ur parakeets. Take Care!

  3. Ya, I agree with all the other people. If you want to know more about what can hurt a bird go here http://parrotcentral.net/list_of_toxins_... there is a whole list of things. I'm also sorry to hear about what happen.

  4. -Overcrowding in parakeets can lead to serious injuries and even death.

-Each bird should have enough room to turn around completely and should be able to spread it's wings with hitting anything.

-Parakeets in the wild are fast, long distance flyers and need a home that provides them with room to fly and exercise. As a general rule, the larger the cage, the happier your parakeet. Parakeets kept in a cage need to be let out for exercise daily.

  5. i bought finches 5 they were all dead in 2 months my pet dealer said probably fumes cuz i had em in the kitchen. like grease fumes they are suseptible to smells and i remembered then i mop my kitchen floors with bleach.

  6. Well there are actually quite a few things it could be. One I would suggest to not by from petstores. I would go to a rescue or a reputable breeder to get your birds. Secondly if you want to know for sure you can have a necropsy done on your birds by your vet to be sure. I do not know what your house has in it.. But I can also say birds respriatory systems are very complex and very fragile many of things can kill them from cooking fumes. To hair spray, nonstick pans, perfumes, candles and air freshners are the absolute worse. Here is a site that may be helpful to you.

  7. teflon

if overheated it takes away a birds oxygen

  8. I think that either the birds were too young or too old, or they didn't have enough room, or they all got sick, or something in the water/food/air.

however i hope that you find out and feel better and i am praying for you =)
