I got SiS 650 Driver, If I buy a Nvidia Graphic driver will it work?

I have Sis 650 graphic driver and it sucks. i want to buy a nVidia GeForce 9600GT graphic card. A) is it worth buying (NZ$180) B) can the sis graphic driver be replaced with the nVidia GeForce 9600GT card C) Is this the top nVidia Graphic Card?

A - if you can get an 8800gt for a similar price thats a better card than the 9600. There's just been a big price drop in these cards because of the 9 series, but the 8800gt will trash a 9600gt, and can often be had for around the same price, depending where you shop.

B - if you have a pci-e slot on your motherboard and an adequate power supply then its a simple upgrade. If you have agp you will need to look at another card. If you dont know your slot type use http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and look at mainboard-graphics

C - no. far from it. the top nvidia card at the moment is the gtx 280. They retail for about US$400
