I got a 1 on my ap bio test. are chances of getting into universities such as UCLA or USC ruined?

my class grades are'nt that bad, i received A's in both of my Ap courses, but i completely bombed the tests. are my chances of getting into a good college ruined?

  1. no, not completly. As long as you have stellar SAT scores and a good unweighted GPA, then your good.


  2. noo waay, they're not ruined.  Honestly, i don't know how much the actual score on the AP test affects you.  Sure, it looks good if you do well, but i don't think they should penalize you that much for not doing that well, i mean its an extra load that you decided to take, and as long as you did well in the class and your gpa/SAT scores are solid, i think you'll be fine.  Don't worry.

  3. If you are worried about the grade affecting your chances of getting in, then just don't submit that score! Collegeboard has a service where you can hide your score from the universities that you apply to. As long as the universities see that you got As both semesters, you should be fine.
