  1. guppies go better with them because they stay near the top not the bottom where your cat fish will most likely stay

  2. i would leave out the pictus fish and get somthing smaller

  3. as long as they don't eat each other that's fine

  4. yeah

but it be better if you got 2 pictus catfish

  5. the pictus cat will grow way too big for your size of tank...

Do you have a heater? Mollies and Tetras need heaters...

If you get a Heater here is what you can put in

    suggestion 1 -

    5 Flame Tetras

    3 Peppered Cories

    suggestion 2 -

    3 Black Neon Tetras

    3 Bronze Cories

    3 Platies (3 females or 1 male, 2 females)

    suggestion 3 -

    3 Platies (3 females or 1 male, 2 females)

    3 Mollies (3 females or 1 male, 2 females)

    1 Otto

    suggestion 4 -

    4 Pygmy Gouramis

    3 Pygmy Cories

    1 Otto

1 Male Betta (People say their fins get nipped I have done this set up and friends as well, nothing bad happens)

    suggestion 5 -

    5 Harlequin Rasboras

    3 Panda Cories

    1 Otto

    suggestion 6 -

    5 Neon Tetras

    2 Marble Hatchetfish

    2 Bronze Cories

These are just a few suggestions, there are many combos you can do, just don't put them all in at once, because you will shock the fish, make sure you take at least two weeks minimum to cycle the tank and add the tougher fish in first who can handle the highs and lows of the nitrite cycle and the ammonia spikes... If you need anymore info on this, buy a book :)

  6. its best to get 6 tetras as they go better in a school,2 mollies are good but i would be care full on your pictus catfish as these grow to 5-6 inch`s hope this helps u out and good luck

  7. Be sure to wait and have your tank running for a week and a half to two weeks before you put any fish in there!!

  8. yes and no more than 1 inch of fish per gallon max

  9. I have a 10 gallon tank, with 2 mollys,a algae eater,and 2 angel fish.

The pictus catfish will be too big for the tank,

  10. yup

    =]]

  11. yup

  12. Mollies and Pictus cats are too big for a tiny 10 gallon.

What species of tetra? There are many, any that are larger than 1" are too big and they need to be in shoals of 6 or more.

Your tank needs to go through the nitrogen cycle first.

  13. The pictus catfish can grow up to 6 inches so i dont recomend it, unless you plan on getting a bigger tank.

But for the rest of the fish, good choice.

If you want an algae eater i would recomend a dwarf pleco or a siamese algae eater!

    Good luck

Hope you like your fish i know i love mine!

  14. As long as you've researched and they won't eat each other, get whatever fish you want!

  15. yes...don't forget to add water.
