Here's the break up :

Critical Reading = 460

Maths = 640

Writing = 510

I want to apply for Computer (Software & Hardware) Engineering, which college might likely take me with this score ?

  1. Your SAT score is above the average score of about 1500. You can increase your score if you study with a book. I recommend Princeton Review and Tutorfox new SAT guide, http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html

    With both books I improved my score from 1660 to 2120 in only 2 months of summer. Good luck, and let me know if you need any more help.

  2. Your critical reading score is a bit low.....

  3. The math score is really the only decent one - if you're planning to go into engineering I would recommend taking the SAT again.

    Good luck!

  4. i would personally from my own experiences say take it again

  5. if you want to apply to a decent (nonstate) college then get both you scores up. Since you wana be an engineer you better get the math score up 700+ and get reading atleast 600+

  6. take the SAT again. Computer science or engineering is a competitive major almost anywhere.

    CSUs and some UCs I'm sure would take you, but your GPA matters a lot too, so i dont know.

    I got a 1610 too, and regret that I didnt retake it, because i would have gotten into better schools, but my major is different (still competitive though).
