I am so disappointed. the AP was really hard, especially the free response section. anyway it was my first AP exam but I dont know if the other Aps will make a difference.

how do universities give credit for ap exams? i dont know how it works, but do they still give u credit even though u failed or what?

  1. I got a 2 on my AP World History exam, so you aren't the only one :P As far as I know, top-notch schools take only 5s, maybe 4s depending, but a lot of schools do accept 3s. But don't be too upset, if you got a good grade in the actual class at least it'll show on your transcript.

  2. The schools you choose to have your grade reported to will know what you got on the test and based on your score will give you credit or no credit. Most 4 year colleges accept most AP tests with a 3 or higher depending on your major, community colleges usually just accept Biology, Physics, Calculus, Statistics, and English but often require a score of 4 or higher . You can choose to cancel your score any time. The easiest AP Test is the AP Calculus test since you only do 2 things the entire time in the class differentiate and integrate so there are a limited amount of questions you could be asked on free response.

  3. ....hey i got a 2 on the ap physics too...all that hard work all the homewrk we got...and yeah it was super-hard...hmm universities accept different scores to give you credit...some of them accept threes..to give credit...sometimes they give you the same amount of credit for a 3 or a 4.....you just have to check with the universities...when i took my first two AP's...i didn't pass either of them...i was really frustrated...that is when you really value the whole year...anyways....i took five aps this year and i'm going to get credit for three...so...next time..just don't expect so much of them...give it your best...and wait...i don't think they will give you credit..because uhm...we failed.....but even if they wont...just think how easy the class will be...

  4. No. None that I know of will give credit for a 2. I'm sorry :(. Many will give credit for a 3, and most will for a 4/5.

AP Physics sounds hard. That's one AP class I'm glad I didn't take.

  5. Some universities don't give credit for AP exams - usually the top schools won't accept them for credit. They will let you skip the class, but won't grant you credits for it. The schools that do give credit often require a minimum grade of 3 or more on the test. My school didn't give credit for APs, but let me skip calculus even though I got a 2 on the test. But I did much better on the other 4 - so study harder for the others, if you take more.

  6. u only get credit if u received a 4 or 5 for some schools. some may accept threes, but not the top schools. ha ha i got a 5, i thought it was really easy, but i got a 4 on ap calc
