  1. You can still be a history teacher!  You have a long ways to go and you'll learn a lot in college!  You'll be fine!  Someday you'll tell your students about it and laugh.  :)

  2. it won't hurt your goal of becoming a us history teacher, but it will hurt your goal of maybe wanting it to count as college credit. you can still be a teacher, you'll just have to take the classes...really it's no biggie. relax

  3. i wouldnt freak out about it too much. high school is a joke dont worry about it. go to college, youll have the best time of your life and your able to study something you love. youll be fine. dont worry about it

  4. It won't make any difference in your teaching career. No one will ask and no one will know. It may mean you will not get the credit for college. But that won't matter for teaching. It seems like you need to work harder in history.

  5. once you are admitted to a college, your high school transcript won't mean much.  you attempted an AP class, they will be happy to see that.  the results of the test will determine if you get any advance credits in history- possibly counting towards a class or two at a college.  at that point, work hard in college to be admitted to a teacher training programme- they will only consider your college coursework and extracurricular activities, not your high school transcript.  just work hard in  your college career and stay in good academic standing with your college of choice and you will be alright.

    best of luck!
