I got a speeding ticket and a seatbelt ticket. He was a jerk, the speed signs werent even posted on the road. However,my friend that is a cop told me that if it isnt posted im suppose to treat it like residential (25 mph) so i cant fight it. This is my only offense and I have been driving for 2.5 years. I am going to go to the traffic school for the speeding ticket so that doesnt show up,but you can only do that for one of the charges and a seatbelt charge isnt one to begin with. But I have seen several mixed opinions. In Arizona, is this considered a moving or non moving violation? Will I get points on my driving record? If I will, obviously my insurance will increase. But if i dont get any points my insurance probably wont increase correct? IM SO CONFUSED. EACH STATE IS DIFFERENT AND I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS WITH AZ. I dont want to call my insurance company because then they will just find out sooner, rather than later

  1. try your local DMV you shiould even be able to get it on the computer but i do not believe a seat belt ticket has points associated with it.
