I got a 3 on my AP exam......?

It was in psychology, I have big aspirations and want to go to a good university in florida. How does a 3 look on my transcript?

A 3 is a good score, and it might get you credit. Plus, colleges don't usually look at AP scores when making decisions. They just like to see that you took an advanced class.

A three is essentially a grade meaning 'average' much like a C in regular school. A few universities I have looked into in Florida (FSU I know, UF I think) accept a 3 for credit. Just out of curiosity, what school are you interested in?

It's okay.  You may not get credit, but you passed.  That's the good thing.  You should be able to get into any school in FL with a 3.  Positive.

3 is right in the middle.  It is ok.

AP scores do not show up on your transcript, just the grades you got in the classes. AP scores are used for credits and class placements only.

A 3 is "qualified" and translated sometimes as a C in a college psychology course, but this varies between schools. I didn't know AP exam scores showed up on transcripts..but the common app asks for it.
