Give it less throttle - that makes it go slower.

ok many people dont know, but you know the throttle is on the handlebars right? well behind the box that is holding the throttle stick, theres a s***w, the more in, the slower, the more out the faster, controls how far you can pust the throttle

I use to have one as a kid and there was this s***w that you could adjust on it...it would stop the throttle from being able to get pushed all the way back...I would look into something like this.
