I got a 4gb micro SDHC card for Nokia 3500, But it does not recognize, despite formatting.?

Question

I tried formatting it inside the phone, but the memory fails to be accessed saying "Operation failed". So I formatted it on my PC, but still no results. Is it because I am using SD HC instead of only SD, or 4 GB instead of 2 GB, or any other reason you might know which I don't? The SDHC card is made by Lexar. Nokia's website doesn't give any info, nor does my phone company (Fido).

well as far as i Know 3500 Does Not Support 4GB Memory card ! Try a 2GB one ! i think it  might sort ur problem out !

i have the same problem with my Canon Powershot camera and a 4GB SDHC card

you see, the SDHC memory cards is a fairly new invention, and only certain gadgets(fairly new) are compatible with SDHC memory cards

SDHC cards are 4GB and higher

so i suggest you to buy a 2GB card, which might solve your compatibility problem...it worked for me!

Must format either fat or fat32  Settings..  I believe its just fat.. try that..
