thing? Well not completely good being that I didn't finish and could've been in the 80s, but good in that it shows my potential?

  1. 30- 60, you better study.

    60's you got potential.

70's we'll take you but you're no genius.

    80's smart

    90's usually have college degree

If youre enlisted and want to go special forces. You need at least a 70.

SpecOps officers need atleast an 80.

A 70+ gets you about any job :)

  2. No matter how good you do on the ASVAB your still gonna get treated like a private. Pick something you can use on the outside is all ill tell you. I had an ASVAB score of 89 and went Infantry I love it but wish I would have done something that I could use to make better money.

  3. There are five scores that come with the ASVAB.  The AFQT (the one you are showing) is only important in a pass/fail sense of can you jon at all.  A 78 is plenty high for that.  The other four scores will determine what job you can have within the branch you have chosen.

  4. When I was  in high school, everyone took the ASVAB. I knew I would not join the military, so I just colored in the circles. I got around 30-40's. Recruiters still called me.

  5. If I recall correctly, above 72 is passing.

  6. If you're not happy with your score you can always retake it.
