  1. That system should be able to blow out your windows. If you don't like your setup, go with the JL Audio setup the other guy recommended. That's about as good as it gets before you get into specialty brands and stuff.

BUT I'm willing to bet you don't have a Kicker amp... Is your amp just some no-name brand, or something like a Kenwood or Sony? Because those types of brands tend to advertise their PEAK wattage, whereas Kicker, Alpine, JL Audio tend to advertise the RMS wattage of their products.

If your amp isn't a high-end name brand amp, like Alpine, I would just swap your amp out.

If your subs have dual 2ohm voice coils, then go with the Kicker ZX1500.1 amp.

If your subs have dual 4ohm voice coils, then it's harder decision to make, since they're not as compatable with monoblock amps (if you want the most wattage from the amp). I would recommend the Alpine PDX-1.1000, but it's a pricey amp, mainly because it's a new line Alpine just put out. You will get 1000 watts RMS no matter which subs you have, so if you don't know how to check, just go with that Alpine amp.

But like I said, if you want a whole new system, go with 2 13.5" JL Audio W7 subs and 2 of the 1000/1 JL Audio amps.

  2. if you have the dual 4 ohm subs you can get a Kicker5 SX1250.1 another thing could be your box. Alex is right again about the amp. i bet its an off brand amp.... you didnt name it. but you said you have a sealed box and you didnt say custom so that lets me further know its c**p. Kicker sells is subs in a ported box so i know its not from them and since you didnt say custom the that tells me you got a pre fab box that is too small for your subs. best bet would be get a Good quality amp (Kicker) and get a custom box and you will think you have a new system. getting bigger subs in a little box will be the same thing

also those 12"L7's are 750 watts rms in a sealed box and 600 watts rms in a ported box so you can use that when searching for an amp

  3. ahh thoes should be pretty dam loud with a 2000 wat amp.. have u tryed them in a custom made ported box? a box can ussaly make a bigg difference

  4. 2 JL 13w7 with 2 1000.1 JL amps
