I got a B in English language and an A in English literature which result can i give when it asks? ?

5 GCSEs (A* - C), which must include English and Maths. Can i give my English Lit result for my english subject

it doesnt matter because the person who is reading or hearing your answer probably got a D in English and is having trouble understanding what you are trying to say

When they say 5A*-C inc. English and Maths, they mean English Language, NOT English Lit. However, Eng Lit still counts towards the other 3 subjects that aren't English Lang or Maths IYSWIM.

Put them both on!

I haven't had that problem, I got a B in both of them, but I still write them down separately. Can't hurt!
