I got a IT internship offer from Internship4america.org company can anybody tell it is fraud or true?

after a simple telephonic interview they selected me for Internship having stipend of $11.50 to $17.25 per hour + free housing at indibar technologies LLC, New Jeresy. Can anybody tell me more about this it is fraud or true cause I got to pay them $4647 as internship fee before my visa interview. has anyone from india undertaken training through this company. Plz help mee....

I don't know for a fact but you should not have to pay ANYTHING for an internship. They don't pay you anything and you pay them nothing...it's a learning experience.

Internships can be paid or free (typically free), but you should NEVER have to pay the company to work for them if they are legitimate.  They are a scam, don't send them your money.

it is fraud, anyone that wants money up front is scamming you. don't fall for it. its a nasty cruel thing to do to another human being but it happens and I'm afraid it is happening to you, don't let them get the better of you. report this to the authoritie's don't  i repeat  dont give any money to anyone. you could also investigate to see if the housing at indibar really exitsts. and if indibar technologies even exist. don't fall for this. its discusting, let us know how u get on. im concerned for you.. goodluck natalie..
