  1. Contact the courts where you received your ticket from. They will be able to tell you if you can take a class or not. I had this happen to me and took a fantastic class with http://www.TicketRelief.com. The best part was I was able to log in and out as often as I wanted and it remember right where I left off at.

  2. you can take traffic school and it will keep your insurance lower. pay your fine.

  3. haha funny i got my first ticket when i was 12 for no helmet. just pay the fine

  4. u just gotta ticket, chill, itll be ok everyone gets one sometime. just pay it off, dot go into all the school stuff.

    ur fine!

  5. I don't know about CA laws but you pay, you go to traffic school, and your ticket doesnt go on your record.

Traffic school is like 4 hrs long.  You learn, you talk, you take a test.

Don't miss the payment and don't be late to school and you should be fine.  Don't sweat it.

  6. Suck it up big guy. Pay the fine. Not the end of the world.

  7. ehh, if it's 20 or less you can, I'm not sure about 24... maybe not

    actually, no, you can't.

  8. I think you only get to do traffic school when you reach a certain amount of points on your license. That is how it is where I live. Call your local D.A. or get a lawyer. Good Luck!

  9. you usually can go to traffic school to keep it (the points) off your record.

on the ticket somewhere, there should be a phone number or email address or office location where you can find out your fine and your options.

  10. I live in PA and recently got pulled over for going 34 mph over. I got 5 points on my license and a 195$ fine, and a 15 day suspension of my license. When I got my sentence the driving center told me that was the lowest sentence. It can range to losing my license for 18 months. I'm sure you will be fine and not get that big of a fine and no where near as many points as me.

  11. idk what its like in CA, but if you can go to court or traffic school or w/e to take points off your license DO IT...even if you have to pay a higher fine. Points raise your insurance. it sucks :(

  12. dude its just a ticket dont be such a P.U.S.S.Y !!!

  13. Sorry, but you'll have to save your pennies and pay the citation.

You either have go to the nearest police station, or send in your payment, if there is an envelope.  Just do it ASAP and you will have nothing to worry about.

  14. nope, your done son

  15. You can apply for traffic school.  The instructions should be on the ticket.  It's a fairly easy process, so don't sweat it.  They'll only "forgive" you a couple of times inside of a year -- I forget how much.

24 mph above the speed limit is quite a bit.  You'd better watch yourself. It sounds to me like you've got a lead foot.

You'll have to pay the fine (ouch!), and pay for traffic school (another smaller ouch!), but it won't go on your record if you pass the driving school test at the end.

Be legit, you don't want to play games with these people or it WILL go on your record...then your insurance will go up and you'll pay even MORE.

Drive safe, learn to leave an extra few minutes early so that you're not in a hurry.  As lame as that may sound, it's really nice to allow plenty of time and not stress about being late...it'll give you time to have a relaxing cup of coffee before you start work.

  16. slow down slow down lets think about this ....

hahaha slow down slow down? pun!

  17. yes you can but you dont need to really worry about this cause my brother has had one and he got freaked out about it but yeah you just need to try to drive the speed limit and maybe 5 more than the speed limit but defintly not over it and i dont you can actually accidently go 24 miles above the speed limit without knowing it but yeah i hope this helps
