I got a T-mobile sidekick and it has been waiting for the activation for about 28 hours. Is this normal?

if you do not have the sideick feature (internet &email) this will keep on happening....to temporarily get rid of it, holdthe menu and U at the same time

Yes, it's normal for up to two or three days (I forget which.) Then your Sidekick feature should be fully active. You can push menu-L to skip the activation screen in the meantime, or if you do not have the Sidekick feature at all.
