I got a bad grade on my final! what could i do???!!!?

ok, so, i hve a b in this class (math) and i studied for my final and thought i got it. butttt, when i got my test back, i got an f!!!! i am an a/b student whoes never missed honor roll and i got an f on my final! should i ask the teacher what my final grad is?(scared to do that) should i tell my parents?(even more scared to do that!!!) please help!!!!!! :-(

well, first of all, take it one step at a time. you can't tell your parents yet cuz you don't know what you got as your final grade. bombing a test, i think, happens to most people at some point. this really won't affect your overall GPA very much as long as it doesn't happen often. you can also take honors classes as much as possible so your weighted GPA will be higher and you'll graduate higher in your class.

Sure--ask the teacher what your grade is and also find out if you can see the F test. That way you can know what you did wrong or if there is any mistake on the teacher's part.  

As far as your parents go, I think you should tell them.  Don't let it be a surprise. They will still be proud of you as long as you did your best and applied yourself.
