I got a bolen 4.0 push mower starts then it dies any ideas?

i tried carb cleaner and starting fluid still a no go.

Chances are the rubber diaphragm inside the carb has deteriorated and not pulling the gas from the tank. Spark, air & gas makes power and without one of those 3 no grass cutting.

Most small motor repair shops will charge you about 35.00 to repair the carb, if you bought the gaskets and diaphram you'll still spend about 15.00, I'd take it to a shop.

Is the fuel shut off open all the way? Is the filter plugged? And does it have gas in the tank?
