This is a brand new off the lot car, no previous owners.

Basically, I have the inspection report from March (which shows the registration being good until August). But they put a sticker on that expired at the end of that Month. Here it is July and I get pulled over for an invalid inspection. The inspection agency put the wrong sticker on and I have the documentation too prove it. Reading RSA 266:1 and 266:5 it seems I've met both the letter and the spirit of the law. Should I fight this?

  1. Fight it for sure!  Since you have all of the documentation you need to prove you complied with the law.

If you do decide to fight it through the mail, be smart!  Make copies of all documentation and send the copies, you keep the originals in case your package gets lost in the mail!

It's probably well worth your time to go to court in person, plead your case and know that this situation is fully taken care of.

  2. Fight it through the mail if you have the documentation to back up what you say. If you have to take a day off from work to do it evaluate the cost verses losses annd go from there.

  3. Yes, it's their fault. Next time check.
