I got a call from a disney channel and nickelodean talent scout?

Well yeah I got a call from them once before and thought it was all fake so I hung up, but about 3 weeks later they called again saying "someone you know has told us about you saying that you are very beautiful and that I should be in disney channel or nickelodeon" and now I am going to go meet them on saturday at 11:00 AM. Is this for real or is this fake?

call the number back with a parent and be sure where it is and if it has a company name when it answers

Hey, unfortunately it is fake.  It is a very common scam.  Next time they call, just ask if they would be willing to speak to your parents. =]

fake. i got the same call but ignored it. DONT meet them it might be a rapest or predator. PLEASE help yourself, or bring your dad with you.

Though...

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm inclined to think that it's not for real.  For starters, you mentioned yourself that this has happened before and it was a scam.  Secondly, Disney and Nickelodeon are separately owned and as far as I knew, competitors in the tween market.  I doubt that the two would be working together on auditions.  Lastly, both networks are so huge and powerful in the entertainment business they do not need to seek talent.  Usually, the talent comes to them and they have their pick of whomever they want.  The fact that they said "someone you know has told us that you are very beautiful" should have tipped you off right there.  You might actually be very pretty, but both those networks have pretty girls with acting and modeling experience lining up outside their doors.  Even if neither was so large and powerful in the entertainment biz, who is so desperate that they're going to call random people and say something like that.  If it was for real, they at least would have mentioned who referred them to you.  

If you decided to go anyway, bring someone you trust with you that is large and male.  And PLEASE do not give them any money.  If you are interested in acting attend some credible industry workshops to see if this is for you. As someone with a bit of experience in this industry, there are a lot of scam artists out there playing on people hopes and dreams.  This entire setup has alarm bells ringing in my head.  I hope they're ringing in your mind as well because this entire situation smacks on sketchiness. Remember, if something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't.

I would call disney/nickelodean tell them and ask if they will have a representative go with you and your parents. I say this because a few people have said it has happened to them.

From my experience, if you are under a certain age you cannot be solicited for work directly.

This is something that both Disney/Nickelodeon would want to be aware of.
