  1. Get a thick paper towel or bathroom hand towel.  Get it damp with warm water, but not dripping wet.

Then wipe it down your cat's back, just like you were petting it.  Give the cat treats before and after so it associates this "bath" with good things.

You can also go to your pet store and buy special wipes that are safe for pets.  The cat will always l**k itself after you wash it, so you want to be careful not to use any soap or chemical that might be unheathly for the cat to swallow.

  2. Groom your kitten often. To keep kitty looking and feeling her best, start basic grooming early, preferably on the day you bring her home, so she gets used to you handling her regularly.

Brush and comb her fur weekly to help control mats and hairballs.

Brush her teeth twice a week to prevent tartar buildup, which can lead to other health problems. Be sure to use a toothpaste made for cats and not humans.

Trim her claws once a week with cat clippers, carefully avoiding the sensitive base of the nail.

Wipe her eyes and the insides of her ears with a damp cloth or cotton ball, looking for any excess grime, which could indicate illness.

Bathe your kitten. Occasional bathing of your cat will keep her smelling great and keep dander under control, which may help alleviate any allergic reactions. Make sure you use a cat shampoo and rinse thoroughly, because shampoo left behind will cause your cat to froth when she licks herself.

  3. Usually cats will clean themselves.  But when it gets bad they need our help.  If it's a long haired cat i recommend brushing it once every day or once every few days.  If its short haired then take a baby wipe and gently clean it.

    Hope i helped.

  4. Well my friend just got a cat and just learned where the litter box is and he went p**p in it and after he smelled soo bad so we took lotion and rubbed it in our hands and pet it but if you do do this then rub the lotion in completely dont squeeze the lotion on him. If you do brush him then i no that probably would get the dust and dirt out of him! Good Luck!

  5. You can use baby wipes to clean the dirt off.  They aren't too wet so cats don't mind. Only use baby wipes though, not cleaning wipes like Clorox.

  6. They have special cleaning wipes just for cats. If the cat won't let you get close to it, wrap one hand/arm in a towel and hold it down  while you wipe it down with the other hand.

  7. los gatos no se bañas ellos se asicalan a ellos mismos ,para bañarlos los tenes que acostumbrar de bebes

  8. There are also some "waterless" shampoos that come in spray or cream form that you basically just rub right into their fur. I don't know how effective it is though.

  9. wash it with a damp cloth, it'll think you are petting it. Also, cats are very efficient at cleaning themselves, so you probably dont need to do it often.

  10. BABY WIPES
