You could try Febreze on it.  If it's more of a urine smell I'd spray them with Nature's Miracle (found at pet supply stores) - it's got enzymes to break up the urine, not just cover it up.  I love that stuff for my carpets!

I would steam clean it and use white vinegar and water or borax and water for the cleaning solution. Mix 1 cup white vinegar or 1/2 cup borax into the water reservoir. If steam cleaning isn't an option, mix one part vinegar and 3 parts water. Spray the furniture with the solution and wipe it down. Vinegar and borax are both great deodorizers. The vinegar dissipates as it dries.

steam cleaner, u can rent one fairly cheap and clean your carpets and other furniture while your at it!
