I got a double line on my ovulation test....?

I got a double line on my ovulation test this morning so I am wondering when the best time to concieve is? It says 24-48 hours. Should we have s*x for the next 3 days? This is my first try with the ovulation kit. Thanks in advance!

Do your thing for the next few days. My Dr told me that having s*x every day is just fine for the guy. They may not "fully" recharge over the 24 hour span, but he said that the amount you might be missing from doing it too soon is far less than what you would miss if you skipped a day. The only time it is really suggested that you not try every day is if the man already has a very low sperm count. I'd say have a lot of fun over the next week just to make sure :)  Good luck!

If it says 24-48 hours then that's the best window for you to conceive... BUT!! You might want to be careful about having s*x for 3 straight days because you will likely end up with a infection due to the design of our body.

A woman's genitalia is acidic to prevent bacterias, germs, and other things from growing and causing infections. With that being said, it is no wonder that s***n are basic to neutralize this acidic environment and prevent sperms from dying too quickly once inside. When your genitalia is longer protected by that acidic environment you are more prone to be infected.

Also, It takes about 24-48 hours for a man to "fully recharge" his sperm storage. Draining him constantly does not give you a better chance because sperm can survive for about 1 day inside a woman and if there aren't enough of them, well, your body will kill it fast enough.

I would suggest that you do it on the first and third day of this window for best outcome. Good luck!
