  1. I don't know what I could tell you to help you, this is something that you and only you need to learn......just look..

  2. What tip do you want???? Just look in your d**n mirrors.

It sounds like you're just too in a hurry to look in your mirrors.

  3. Make it a part of a pattern.  Driving should be a full-time activity, with 100% of your attention on driving safely.  That means no conversations, on the phone, or with your passengers.  Ideally, the driver shouldn't be eating, smoking or anything else that is not part of keeping full control of the car.

While the car is moving, your head and eyes should be scanning.  For example, look ahead; look at your rear view mirror; look ahead, look at your side mirror; look ahead; look at your speedometer; look ahead; look at your other side mirror; look ahead; look at your rearview; look ahead; look at your side mirror; look ahead; look at your other guages; look ahead; and so on.

If you think that is too much to do and leaves you no time for doing anything else in the car, then that is the point of all of this.  You SHOULDN'T be doing anything else in the car.  By developing and DOING this kind of pattern, you don't have to remember to look in the mirrors.  You just do it because it becomes part of what you do.  Every ten or fifteen seconds, or so, you WILL be using your mirrors, so less will catch you by surprise, including OTHER, bad drivers.

  4. remember to pay full attention to your manners on the road. cops follow you for a while just to see what your habits are best to know who's behind you as well as in front.

  5. When you do your test and fail, you will learn to use your mirrors.

Or failing this, when you have your first accident or even kill someone because you didn't look.

    You'd better practice more.

Mirrors have a PURPOSE. That purpose is SAFETY.

  6. You'll fail if you don't.  That should be incentive enough.

  7. When driving, it is important to know where other vehicles are in relation to you.

Vehicles in front of you are easy to see, but in all other directions you need to use mirrors. For example, if you want to pull out to overtake a car and another car is approaching at high speed in that lane, then your overtaking movement is a recipe for a serious accident.

If you never look in your mirrors, then you are a DANGER to all other road users.

So you should, deservedly, FAIL your driving test, so as to lessen the chances that your irresponsible inactions are responsible for the death of other road users.

  8. when you go to press on your breaks look in the mirrors every time, you get use to it after awhile.

  9. The problem with most people they simply do not care or cannot pay enough attention.  As you drive look at traffice then look at your speed then your mirrors do it every few minutes or more.  I am always glancing at my speed, then my mirrors, it will be come habit however you may not have time before your test.  And as the other writer put passing your test whould be insentive enough.
