Question:

I got a fish to the shore?

i was fishing and got a carp.it came right up to the shore and i held it there for a sec on my line.then when i went down it broke my line.then right after that it got on and came up and broke it when it got scared.are these considered catching it?cuz i had it in my control but it didnt come on dry land.?catch or not?

  1. Not a catch. Had you touched the leader or actually touched the fish, it would have been considered a catch. Maybe next time.~good luck catchin'.


  2. not a chance the fish has to be out of the water on the bank of a river!!or lake for that matter

  3. No catch... A catch is to move the fish from the water to the fryin' pan... And since it got away, you can't get it to the fryin' pan.

  4. no...sorry but to consider a fish to be "landed" it must be on land

  5. No you must remove the hook your self in order for it to be a catch.
