  1. If you have a computer or library access, look it up. But here are some quick advise. Feed the best quality food you can afford. make sure dog has unlimited access  to CLEAN, cool water, keep food and water bowls clean, get it to a vet for a check up, immunizations and spay or neuter him or her. Remember a dog is a pack animal and will not be happy if constantly left alone. If you do not have more than 3-5 hours a day with your dog, then get it a friend ( another dog) or you will be sorry. An unhappy dog is DESTRUCTIVE. My cousin bought a Dalmation, left it at home alone while he worked 12 hours a day and after a couple of weeks, the dog destroyed his sofa completely.

  2. feed him lol good food yum

  3. get newspaper, if it's a puppy, never be to aggressive just firm with is, depending on the size, puppy's need special food, lager dogs should be feed twice a day, you should probably take it to the vet for a check up or vaccinated.

  4. please take care of him.. it's a lifetime commitment..bring him to a vet first.. he will be the best person to help u n your dog..

  5. Firstly get:

    A bed

dog food (if the first two ingredients are meat, then it's good)

Toys (Depending on the breed, large&medium dogs: tennis balls, any balls, sticks) You can get sticks at your local park. ;)

Get some treats too. (beef jerky, pigs ears)

Food and water bowls, leave water out all day.

    Things to avoid:

    Chocolate (Dogs can't have cocoa)

    Grapes (Can't digest properly)

    Nuts

    Human milk (Lactose intolerant)

Cat food (Things they don't need in there)

    Corn

    There's heaps more!

    Get a brush also.

    Short haired: Comb

Medium haired: Comb, slicker brush, normal brush.

Long haired: Comb, slick brush, normal brush, de-matting brush.

Good luck. And do research before buying next time

  6. Well. I got one two. But he was a stray. First you want him to have "A spot" to make him feel at home. Feed him like a cup of food in the mornings and one more at lunch and another around dinner. Have nice cool water always available. When taking him for a walk make sure he stays to the left of you and never let him go in front of you. Oh and when you play tug o war with him always make sure you win. If he wins he think he has control. And when playing fetch make sure he brings the ball back and if he doesn't Leave. Don't even look at him. Try to take the ball with you. This will show him you are boss and its over when you say so.

  7. Well, you need to take him to the vet to be sure he is healthy and your vet will be able to answer all your questions, and give you some help with raising and caring for the dog.
