I got a friend that went into jail for a month back in march!His girlfriend cashed 3 of his checks

that totaled up to like $200.00! Is it to late to make a police report for those checks?It was march of 2008!

She was able to cash those checks by depositing those checks into someone else's bank account! How the heck was she able to do that if he didn't sign the checks over to her to cash them! I don't understand how she did it! Can any one tell me if he can file charges yet sense she cashed them back in march 2008?

If he can prove she did it, then I'm pretty sure he still can.

as long as you can prove he was locked up when she cashed them

Yes! What she did is illegal. Tell your freind to go to the prosecuters office and file charges.

It depends on whether the statue of limitation ran out or not-its only been a few months so prob not I would move on it.  She probably signed his name thats how.
