I got a gift letter for a pickup truck???

okay I deal with this private dealer...I live in massachusettes usa and the private dealer has me paying for the truck still even though he gave me a gift letter. Do I have a case against him?

You have not provided enough information for any one to give you a fair answer. We would almost have to see the letter and further not just parts but the whole thing along with having said that remember that laws are different in other states. My guess is that the letter is a come on and is as worthless as the paper that it is written on. The real question is what have you signed and agreed to that makes you have a payment on anything, it is real possible that there is a lot more miss representation going on here besides a letter. I would contact your attorney and have him go over the paper work with you and have him ask the hard questions that you may not want to answer in here
