I got a goldfish 1 week ago and now it has two black spots on it?

It used to just be orange and white. It is a comet goldfish. It is in a 29 gallon tank. I did treat it for ICK when I got it because it had a couple little white dots on it. They went away. He never looked like he was affected by the ICK or the ICK treatment because he has always eaten. I was gone for a couple of days, and when I got back there were two black dots on him. One was on his top fin and one was on his gill area. They look like they were his markings but they were never there before. Is this something to be conserned about??

hi the tank will need to be upgraded to a 50 gallon when it gets larger

Most goldfish change color as they age.  It could just be a natural change.  Keep an eye on him and see what happens.
