I got a good blister yesterday from batting practice and I have a double header today.?

What's the best thing to do to the blister to be able to play today? (Basically block out the pain)

  1. Other than strapping it up, putting anti-septic cream on it and taking a paracetamol there's not a lot you can really do. Though it also depends on how big it is. Larger blisters should be covered with a gauze pad or dressing that you can then tape in place. But If you have a blister in a position that is causing you pain (such as on the sole of your foot or on your hand), it's important to cover it with a soft dressing to pad and protect it. Do not try and burst it or take the skin away as it will only make it worse!
